Job summary

DSC Dredge, LLC is seeking an Electrical Panel Builder to lay out, assemble, wire, test, and troubleshoot industrial electrical control panels used in marine and heavy industrial applications. The position involves assembling from drawings, mounting components, performing continuity checks, and documenting work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical training in electrical systems preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical panel building, industrial electrical assembly, or control wiring.
• Experience in marine, industrial, manufacturing, or heavy equipment environments preferred.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and wire industrial control panels from engineering drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Layout and mount components within enclosures.
• Perform point-to-point wiring of control circuits and power distribution systems.
• Route, label, and terminate wiring to standards.
• Conduct continuity checks and functional testing with multimeters.
• Maintain accurate drawings, project documentation, and testing records.
• Assist with troubleshooting, commissioning, startup, and field installation activities.
• Support FAT and customer inspections as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and applicable electrical codes.
