Job summary

Linde is seeking a Mechanical Specialist to support electrical systems at facilities in Niagara Falls, NY or Suffield, CT. The role involves identifying and implementing preventive and predictive maintenance for high-voltage equipment, troubleshooting substations and switchgear, and coordinating field services with safety and reliability as core priorities.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or 5+ years of experience maintaining medium voltage systems in industrial settings.
• Experience as field service engineer/technician in industrial electrical maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance for industrial electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs for electrical systems across facilities.
• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical distribution systems up to 138 kV.
• Plan, schedule, coordinate, and lead preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Engage in infrared thermography, transformer oil analysis, and power quality analysis.
• Make field technical decisions for safe and reliable operations.
• Travel ~20% for on-site and off-hours work in various environments.
