DIS-TRAN Steel is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician for our Pineville, LA plant. The role focuses on installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical equipment, reading schematics, and ensuring equipment reliability through preventive maintenance.

The ideal candidate has a journeyman status with strong PLC ladder logic knowledge, blueprint interpretation skills, and a commitment to safety and regulatory compliance in an industrial setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Journeyman status required.
• Trade school or apprenticeship training a plus.
• Industrial electrical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain electrical equipment throughout the plant.
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and electrical schematics.
• Troubleshoot control systems and perform preventive maintenance.
• Calibrate instruments and test equipment to specifications.
• Train and mentor maintenance staff as needed.
• Ensure adherence to safety and electrical code regulations.
