Job summary

Eaton Corporation in Olean, NY is hiring a Maintenance Technician for the 1st shift. This hands-on role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining and improving electrical test equipment and automated manufacturing equipment.

Core hours are 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with a base hourly rate of $25.52 plus a $1.50 shift differential per hour. Qualifications include a high school diploma and at least three years of industrial electrical maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of three years of industrial electrical maintenance experience.
• Eaton will not consider immigration sponsorship for this position.
• Candidate must reside within 50 miles of Olean, NY; relocation not offered.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain high-voltage electrical equipment, machinery, controls and related components.
• Install, maintain and troubleshoot production test stations using electrical codes, schematics and blueprints.
• Diagnose electrical equipment and test-station failures and determine repairs.
• Perform electrical testing and calibrate test stations, maintaining records and documentation.
• Provide technical support to production and maintenance and work with engineering on improvements.
