Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; accreditation of electrical apprenticeship preferred.
• Valid Journeyman Electrician license required; Master Electrician license is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years as an industrial electrician, with at least 2 years in a supervisory/foreman role.
• Experience with motor controls, PLCs, VFDs, and high-voltage distribution; strong NEC knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of industrial electricians, ensuring safety, timelines, and quality.
• Plan, organize, and coordinate daily work activities including scheduling, materials, and equipment.
• Interpret blueprints and electrical diagrams to ensure proper wiring installations and code compliance.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical control systems, wiring, lighting, and components.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues in industrial machinery and systems.
• Inspect electrical systems regularly to ensure safe, efficient operation.
• Train team members on new techniques, safety procedures, and equipment operation.
• Communicate project progress and challenges to project managers and clients.
• Maintain records of work, materials, and safety incidents; ensure compliance with NFPA 70E and OSHA.
