Job summary

Catalyst Recruiting, Inc is seeking a Senior Electrical Maintenance Specialist to support multi-site industrial facilities in the Austin/Round Rock region. The role focuses on electrical maintenance, reliability, and high voltage system troubleshooting across 13.8kV equipment and substations.

The candidate will lead maintenance programs, oversee regional plant electrical work, and travel up to 30% to support multiple sites. A strong background in heavy industry power and reliability is essential.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years in industrial electrical maintenance at 5kV–15kV.
Experience with heavy industry power, chemical plants.
Journeyman license handy.
Associates in electrical engineering tech or similar required.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise maintenance and reliability work for power/distribution at industrial facilities.
Work with medium to high-voltage systems across multiple plants in the region, with travel up to 30%.
Work independently on-site and know when to ask for assistance.
Develop and implement maintenance and reliability programs for power distribution, substations, transformers, breakers, switchgear, relay systems, UPS.
Support shutdown planning and electrical tasks.
Perform root cause analysis and corrective action plans.
Conduct oil analysis, IR thermography, discharge and power analysis as part of reliability programs.
