Job summary

Superior Skilled Trades is partnering with a growing industrial electrical services company to hire an Electrical Estimator – Industrial Field Services for the Tampa, FL area. You will support inside sales, field service operations, project development, and customer proposals, preparing accurate estimates for electrical projects including maintenance, outages, and power distribution.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience estimating industrial electrical construction.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specs, and single-line diagrams.
Experience preparing estimates, quotes, proposals, exclusions, and scope clarifications.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and estimating software.
Valid driver's license and willingness to visit sites as needed.

Responsibilities

Review requests, drawings, specs, and bid documents to prepare estimates.
Develop detailed estimates for field service, maintenance, shutdowns, and upgrades.
Perform material, labor, equipment, subcontractor, and vendor takeoffs.
Prepare proposals with scope, exclusions, assumptions, and alternates.
Coordinate with sales, project management, and vendors throughout the bid process.
Evaluate site conditions, outage windows, and schedule constraints.
