Qualifications

• Experience estimating costs in relevant industries required.
• Familiarity with electrical/instrumentation projects is a plus.
• Knowledge of safety standards and industry practices.

Responsabilités

• Analyze blueprints, technical drawings, specifications, and proposals to determine the scope of work.
• Calculate labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs for industrial and electrical systems.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, including contingency for potential cost uncertainties.
• Develop and submit formal bid proposals and quotes to clients.
• Maintain accurate records of estimation data, historical costs, and project documentation.
• Prepare cost reports, schedules, and budget allocations for project managers.
• Work with project managers, engineers, architects, contractors, and suppliers to clarify scope and resolve cost issues.
• Conduct site visits to verify requirements and gather on-site data.
• Communicate with vendors to evaluate and negotiate bids.
• Evaluate and compare supplier and subcontractor quotes.
• Assist in contract negotiations and procurement of materials.
• Assess the impact of design changes or scope modifications on cost and schedule.
