Job summary

Exco Electric is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the design and development of industrial power and control systems. The role emphasizes hands-on design work, electrical system analysis, and thorough documentation for manufacturing and field operations.

You will design power distribution, develop schematics and layouts, perform electrical studies, and ensure compliance with industry standards in a collaborative, manufacturing-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience designing industrial power distribution and control systems.
• Proficiency with SOLIDWORKS Electrical (2D/3D) and familiarity with ETAP/SKM is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design medium- and low-voltage power distribution systems.
• Develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts using SOLIDWORKS Electrical.
• Specify electrical equipment including transformers, switchgear, panelboards, and control panels.
• Conduct electrical studies such as fault current, voltage drop, and arc flash analyses.
• Create and maintain BOMs and engineering documentation.
• Support PLC panel design and wiring in electrical enclosures.
• Coordinate designs with mechanical and manufacturing teams.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA 70E, IEEE, and IEC standards.
