Job summary

Olsson in Overland Park, Kansas is seeking an Electrical Engineer to serve as the designer on projects, preparing planning documents and calculations as part of the Electrical team.

You will coordinate with cross-functional Olsson teams, staff, and clients, with potential travel to job sites for observation and client meetings. A PE license is preferred and 5+ years of electrical experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field required.
• Minimum of 5+ years electrical engineering experience.
• Minimum 2 years consulting experience in the industry.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) is preferred or required where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems and prepare planning and design documents.
• Coordinate with Olsson teams, staff, and clients on project delivery.
• Perform design calculations and electrical modeling as part of the project team.
• Travel to job sites for observation and client meetings as needed.
