A leading engineering firm is seeking an Industrial Electrical Engineer to engage in multi-project responsibilities including full electrical design for cleanroom systems and process utilities. Located in Boise, ID, this role requires strong experience in electrical design, knowledge of relevant codes, and the ability to coordinate with various stakeholders. Job description

Farnsworth Group is seeking an Industrial Electrical Engineer to work on multi‑project responsibilities for full electrical design including cleanroom design and process utility systems. Projects will be in advanced manufacturing, semiconductor, and technology markets.

Posting Locations for this role:

Colorado Springs, CO or Greenwood Village, CO (Denver Tech Center); or Boise, ID

What You'll Do
  • Prepare accurate electrical system construction drawings and specifications for submittal review and construction administration.
  • Prepare preliminary schematics through final designs, calculations, equipment selection, and layout.
  • Maintain project design budgets and schedules while pursuing quality.
  • Actively engage in and assume responsibility for code research and application.
  • Interface with other disciplines, clients, and contractors.
  • Coordinate with other production staff.
What You'll Need
  • BS in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering
  • Licenses/Registrations: A Professional Engineer License (PE) is strongly preferred.
  • 8+ years of related electrical design experience
  • Strong knowledge of medium voltage and low voltage design
  • Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code
  • Application knowledge of electrical, building, and energy codes is desired.
  • Strong verbal and writing skills.
  • Strong background with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and REVIT.
  • Ability to travel.
