Job summary

Hunt Electric is seeking an electrical designer to support our Industrial Team on high-tech projects such as automotive plants, data centers, and battery facilities. You will develop electrical designs, create installation drawings from 3D/BIM models, and produce raceway layouts and schedules for field execution.

This role requires strong attention to detail, independent work habits, and proficiency with Revit, Bluebeam, and MS Office.

Qualifications

Two year degree in electrical construction, electrical design for construction.
Excellent planning and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Excellent time management skills.
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Willingness to learn new ideas and concepts.

Responsibilities

Process customer’s engineered schematic and cabling riser drawings and create raceway layout drawings, cable pull schedules and termination schedules to be used in the field installation.
Collaborate with the ACP group to create fabrication drawings for prefab shop and field.
Coordinate with field management to ensure timely field layout and drawings.
Create electrical drawings for construction within Revit and Bluebeam on various projects.
Create installation drawings from 3D/BIM models.
Coordinate finished product with external customers and industry professionals.
