Job summary

You will collaborate with engineers to produce complete drawings for fabrication, bidding, and construction, travel to client sites for field verification, and mentor junior staff while maintaining company drafting standards.

Qualifications

• AS or drafting certificate with 5 years in industrial electrical/control design
• Proficiency with 3D design/BIM software such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, AutoCAD Plant 3D
• Ability to lead and mentor drafters and junior staff

Responsibilities

• Lead development of detailed 3D electrical designs for industrial manufacturing and process control systems
• Collaborate with engineers to produce complete drawing sets for fabrication, bidding, and construction
• Maintain and develop drafting standards and 3D modeling standards
• Travel to client sites for field verification and data collection
