Caterpillar Inc. is seeking an Industrial Electrician for production test environments in the United States.

You will locate, install, test, troubleshoot, repair, modify and maintain industrial/electronic systems, interpreting blueprints and control logic per OEM specs and applicable codes. Requirements include a minimum of 3 years electrical experience, ability to read electrical drawings, and willingness to work overtime or any shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years electrical related job experience.
• Experience reading/interpreting electrical drawings and manuals.
• Experience using general repair tools and equipment.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Willing to work any shift.
• Preferred: PLC controls experience, Solar turbomachinery knowledge, ASE/UTI or A&P certifications.

Responsibilities

• Locate, install, test, troubleshoot, repair, modify, and maintain industrial/electronic systems devices.
• Follow OEM specifications and electrical codes as guided by NEC and standards.
• Conduct functional tests with ammeters, voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and related equipment to ensure proper operation.
