Job summary

Actalent in Arden Hills, MN, seeks an Electrical Controls Engineer to lead the full lifecycle of MCC burn-in systems, designing and automating electromechanical equipment and tailoring power delivery and machine control architectures.

You will produce schematics, develop automation solutions, select control hardware, create verifications, and collaborate with Production and Purchasing to resolve issues; onsite with up to 20% travel and opportunities for growth in the semiconductor field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in industrial system design and power control.
• Hands-on experience with industrial power systems.
• Experience with automation of industrial electromechanical systems.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple departments.
• Experience designing and developing electromechanical assemblies.
• Experience with international low voltage (<600VAC) power systems.
