Job summary

BW Papersystems, part of the Barry-Wehmiller Group, is seeking an Electrical Assembler/Electrical Technician in the United States (WI) to prepare, sub-assemble and construct electromechanical equipment. You will read wiring diagrams, assemble components, and wire control panels under supervision.

This role requires 2+ years in electrical assembly, and a high school diploma or GED. Ability to work safely with hand and power tools, and to communicate effectively within a team is essential.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, specifications and work orders.
• Assemble electrical or electronic systems and install components and wiring.
• Solid knowledge of industrial electrical concepts and components.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Read wiring diagrams and determine materials and assembly steps.
• Assemble and wire electrical systems, install cabinets and panels.
• Inspect wiring for proper coding, continuity and safety.
• Participate in testing of completed machines and diagnose issues.
