Job summary

BW Papersystems is seeking an Electrical Assembler / Electrician to read wiring diagrams and assemble/install electrical components on large, custom machinery. You will wire subassemblies, label terminal boards, and ensure safety and quality through testing and troubleshooting.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma/GED with 3+ years of wiring or installation experience, or a 2-year degree/certification in electrical systems with 2+ years' experience. On-site role with competitive pay.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, specifications, and work orders.
• Assemble and install electrical components, wiring, subassemblies, and support structures.
• Label, wire, and connect switch boxes and control panel terminal boards.
• Inspect wiring for coding accuracy, proper termination, continuity, and identify shorts or grounds.
• Assist in testing completed machines and troubleshooting electrical issues.
• Document work to meet quality and production requirements.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve quality, cost, or production challenges.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and proper care of tools & equipment.
• Multi-task and shift priorities as needed throughout the day.
