Job summary

ForestSource is seeking dependable Industrial/Commercial Electrical Apprentices to support electrical installation and construction on industrial and commercial projects. You will learn from licensed personnel, perform assigned tasks safely, and contribute to efficient project completion.

Responsibilities include assisting with installation, wiring, labeling, measuring, and tool use while maintaining a safe, organized site.

Qualifications

Prior electrical or construction exposure is preferred but not required.
Interest in learning electrical trade and developing industrial/commercial skills.
Ability to follow instructions, work safely, and be part of a crew.
Basic ability to use hand tools and read measurements.
Dependable attendance, good communication, and strong work ethic.
Willingness to complete safety training and apprenticeship coursework.
Ability to meet project-specific physical and site-access requirements.
Ability to travel and work extended hours, weekends, or shutdowns when required.

Responsibilities

Assist electricians and foremen with installation and construction activities.
Install conduit, cable tray, junction boxes, supports, grounding, lighting, and related systems.
Assist with wire pulls, labeling, material handling, and equipment setup.
Measure, cut, prepare, and install materials as directed.
Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and lifts safely and as trained.
Follow safety requirements, permits, procedures, and pre-task plans.
Maintain tools, equipment, materials, and work areas in a safe condition.
Perform other electrical duties as assigned within training and qualification level.
