Job summary

Milliken and Company’s Dewey Plant seeks a Safety Professional to develop and maintain EHS programs, ensure OSHA/EPA compliance, and integrate safety into operations. You will apply engineering principles to hazard analyses, lead audits, incident investigations, and training, reporting to the EHSS Manager.

The role is Monday–Friday, first shift, with possible outside hours. Responsibilities cover safety, engineering support, training, and environmental health tasks, requiring a strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline required with manufacturing experience.
• Experience in EHS, safety engineering, or related role in industrial/manufacturing settings preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA/EPA regulations and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs to ensure OSHA/EPA compliance.
• Perform safety audits, inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
• Coordinate OSHA VPP documentation and regulatory reporting; conduct respirator fit testing.
