Job summary

J&J Snack Foods Corp is seeking an EHS Coordinator to lead safety training, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain OSHA records across manufacturing sites. You will work with the corporate EHS team to improve safety performance and protect employees.

Responsibilities include audits, incident reporting, onboarding, data maintenance, and monthly KPI tracking with occasional travel. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred and 1–3 years in manufacturing is ideal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in a related field.
• 1–3 years' experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards.
• Computer skills- Word, Excel, PowerPoint- Required
• Safety experience- Required

Responsibilities

• Provide safety training for employees on policies, regulations, and procedures.
• Advise administrative team on safety issues and compliance for projects.
• Inspect and verify compliance with safety regulations.
• Record incidents, maintain OSHA 300 Log, and follow up with Travelers for claims.
• Ensure monthly safety KPIs meet corporate standards.
• Conduct safety onboarding for new hires and ensure documentation is completed.
• Keep safety files onsite organized and filed correctly.
• Conduct daily/monthly safety audits & track near misses.
• Conduct safety investigations and ensure corrective actions.
• Prepare reports on accidents and violations and determine causes.
• Maintain safety policies & Safety Data Sheets.
• Performs all other related duties as assigned.
