Job summary

J&J Snack Foods seeks an EHS Manager for our Kentucky manufacturing site. You will align site Environmental Health & Safety programs with business goals, drive audits, trainings, incident investigations, and regulatory compliance to promote safe, efficient operations.

You will lead continuous improvement of EHS policies, manage budgets, and liaise with regulators while engaging employees to adopt best safety practices across the facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety or related discipline.
• Experience leading EHS programs across a manufacturing site.

Responsibilities

• Align corporate and local EHS goals and strategies.
• Lead EHS audits and inspections, developing remediation plans as needed.
• Lead multi-media environmental compliance including Water, Waste, and Air programs.
• Manage emergency management programs and safety budget.
• Develop and drive a safety committee and employee training programs.
• Interact with regulatory bodies and represent the company at meetings.
• Investigate incidents and recommend corrective measures.
