Job summary

Solenis is seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician to perform day-to-day electrical and instrumentation maintenance at our Portland plant, supporting reliable operations. You will troubleshoot PLCs, DCS, calibration, and electrical systems to keep processes running efficiently.

Install, repair, and calibrate instrumentation, read P&IDs and wiring diagrams, manage work orders and spare parts, and collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to improve equipment reliability.

Qualifications

Industrial electrical and instrumentation experience
Ability to read P&IDs and schematics
2+ years industrial electrical/instrumentation experience
Proficient with electrical test equipment and safety procedures

Responsibilities

Perform electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of plant equipment and systems.
Install, repair, test, and calibrate instrumentation and electrical equipment.
Troubleshoot industrial control systems and process equipment.
Program, edit, and troubleshoot PLC and DCS control systems.
Interpret P&IDs, loop drawings, and electrical schematics.
Maintain electrical and instrumentation work orders and spares inventories.
Support preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
Collaborate with operations, engineering, and maintenance teams to improve reliability
