Job summary

Richard Construction Inc. is seeking an Industrial E&I Apprentice to support journeymen on site, installing wiring raceways, tubing, fittings, cable trays, and electrical equipment across our industrial projects.

Candidates should be willing to travel, follow NEC and site rules, and bring the required tools. No formal education required, but a state apprentice license is mandatory; NCCER certification and ongoing apprenticeship are a plus.

Qualifications

No minimum education requirements, but willingness to learn and work productively
Must have State issued Apprentice Electrician License
Must be able to compute basic arithmetic, measure, mark and cut to specs
Must have reliable transportation
Must work full schedule and overtime with little notice
Must be willing to work safely and follow safety rules/regulations
Must be willing to travel away from home for work assignments
Must follow company and site rules and regulations
Must have required tools

Responsibilities

Identify tools required for tasks
Identify safety risks and precautions required to eliminate risks
Assist journeyman electrician or instrument fitters with E&I construction or maintenance tasks
Be willing to learn NEC, state, local, and client regulations/specifications
Cleanup work areas
Assist other crafts and perform additional duties as a team player
