Job summary

Continental is seeking a Digital Services Technologist to support IT interface systems (e.g. SFI, DOPAC) and troubleshoot the machine software across manufacturing areas in Mount Vernon, IL. The role requires clear communication, teamwork, and the ability to train others in production and maintenance. Preferred knowledge includes Allen Bradley, Beckhoff, Siemens, networking, and PLC programming. Starting annual salary is $65,200 with a comprehensive benefits package and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or technical field required with focus on electrical/computer engineering.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for production and maintenance environments.
• Preferred knowledge of Allen Bradley, Beckhoff, and Siemens controls and networking.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on assistance to SFI/CGMS and other system integrations of machines.
• Coordinate machine downtime and assist in technical training of SFI/CGMS and other IT systems.
• Assist installation, upkeep of documentation and machine IPC backups.
• Maintain records of changes to PLC/IPC programs and support management in the plant.
