Job summary

Nuby in Monroe, LA is seeking an Industrial Designer to create innovative, production-ready consumer products from concept through production. You will collaborate with Product Development, Engineering, Marketing, Packaging, QA, and overseas manufacturing to ensure designs meet brand standards and safety requirements.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in consumer product design, strong knowledge of manufacturability, and hands-on CAD skills in SolidWorks, Rhino, or Fusion 360, plus proficiency in

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial/consumer product design.
• Experience with plastic injection molding, silicone products, and consumer product manufacturing.
• Strong 3D CAD skills in SolidWorks, Rhino or Fusion 360.
• Proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Understanding of product development from concept through production.

Responsibilities

• Develop concepts for infant, toddler, and parenting products.
• Create sketches, digital renderings, CAD models, and product presentations.
• Design products balancing functionality, ergonomics, safety, durability, and aesthetics.
• Prepare detailed design specs for manufacturing.
• Collaborate with Engineering to ensure designs are manufacturable and cost-effective.
• Review prototypes and propose design improvements.
