Spectrum Brands’ Home & Personal Care division seeks an Industrial Designer to shape the next generation of small kitchen, garment, and personal care appliances for leading brands. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate user insights into compelling product concepts.

The role features a hybrid work setup in Madison, WI with in-office Tuesday through Thursday and remote Monday and Friday. Relocation assistance may be available and will be evaluated case-by-case.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design (BA/BS).
• Proficiency in SolidWorks or Fusion 360 for 3D modeling.
• Strong sketching and visualization skills with a portfolio.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.
• Knowledge of ergonomics and user-centered design principles.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Ability to collaborate across departments in a hybrid environment.

Responsabilités

• Support design and development of innovative, user-friendly small appliances.
• Create concept sketches, mood boards, and renderings to communicate ideas.
• Develop 3D models and CAD drawings for prototypes and production.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing on materials and processes.
• Participate in prototyping and user-centered design activities.
• Stay updated on trends and market needs to drive design innovation.
• Work with marketers, project managers, and engineers across time zones.
