Job summary

Ideal candidates are pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's in Industrial Design or Mechanical Engineering, with hands-on fabrication skills and a strong commitment to safety and quality. This on-site role offers hands-on learning and growth in product development.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with model-making materials and equipment such as foam core, wood, metal, acrylic, power tools, and hand tools.
• Experience with 3D printers required.
• Proficiency in shop processes and safety procedures for tool use.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks or Creo.
• Builder/tinkerer with assembly and hands-on fabrication skills.
• Do you build furniture, FPV drones, bicycles, or cars? We would love to hear about it.

Responsibilities

• Create prototypes and components from 3D model files supplied by the design and engineering teams.
• Use 3D printers, laser cutters, and other shop equipment to create medium- to high-fidelity prototypes.
• Maintain tools, shop cleanliness, and 3D printers.
• Edit and optimize 3D model files for 3D printing.
