Job summary

Henkel in the United States is seeking an undergraduate Industrial Design student for a packaging design internship in Connecticut. You will develop innovative packaging concepts, create 2D/3D sketches, and collaborate with regional and global teams across Packaging Engineering, Manufacturing, and Consumer Insights.

You’ll gain hands-on experience with CAD tools like SolidWorks/Fusion 360, rapid prototyping, and consumer research support in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Industrial Design.
• Experience with CAD or 3D modeling software is needed.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Industrial Design team to develop packaging and product solutions.
• Collaborate with regional and global teams in Packaging Engineering, Manufacturing, Formulation, and Consumer Insights.
• Research and design new structural packaging concepts across Henkel Consumer Brands products.
• Create 2D and 3D concepts through sketching and CAD modeling.
• Produce and evaluate 3D CAD models, renderings and rapid prototypes.
• Participate in interdisciplinary brainstorming sessions and in-house consumer research projects.
