Job summary

Universal Presentation Concepts (UPC) in Madison, WI is seeking an Industrial Design Engineer to drive concept-to-production for retail fixtures and P.O.P. displays.

This hands-on role blends creativity, engineering, and process improvement in our fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will develop design concepts, produce production drawings, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and efficient workflows.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
• A portfolio showcasing relevant design and engineering work.
• Familiarity with IT concepts, cloud tools, and file formats.
• Strong communication skills and cross-department collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative design concepts that meet customer needs and expand UPC’s design portfolio.
• Create production-ready drawings and manufacturing instructions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align design, engineering, and production goals.
• Manage multiple projects with evolving requirements and maintain project files.
