Job summary

Sandalwood Engineering & Ergonomics seeks a Manufacturing IT Cyber Security Specialist to join our team onsite at client facilities. You will implement cybersecurity controls in automotive manufacturing environments and collaborate with plant personnel to promote secure IT and OT practices.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with industrial IT systems, strong communication skills, and a willingness to travel to multiple facilities.

Qualifications

• Degree or certification in Information Technology/Cybersecurity related field.
• Strong interest in developing ICS Cyber Security skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• 2+ years Manufacturing Plant Floor Experience with exposure to Industrial IT systems and controls.

Responsibilities

• IT Cyber Security initiatives including implementation and management of Manufacturing Cyber Security standards at the assigned facility.
• Work closely with all levels and groups within the plant to ensure Industrial Cyber Security standards are understood and followed.
• Coordinate with counterparts at other facilities and corporate management to report status and share best practices.
• Job may require occasional off-shift support to implement initiatives during non-production times.
