API Heat Transfer is seeking a Wooden Crate Builder to securely package heavy industrial radiators and related hardware for domestic and international transport. The role blends custom wood fabrication with light material handling and inventory tracking to ensure damage-free, on-time delivery to global clients.

The ideal candidate will read blueprints, cut and assemble crates with hand and power tools, and apply internal bracing, moisture barriers, and labeling.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training preferred.
• 2+ years crate building or industrial carpentry experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with ISPM 15 packaging standards.

Mansioni

• Read blueprints and packaging specs to determine crate dimensions and construction requirements.
• Build custom wooden crates using hand and power tools, ensuring structural integrity and safety compliance.
• Incorporate internal bracing, cushioning, and moisture barriers to protect equipment.
• Label crates with handling instructions, part numbers, and destination details.
• Collaborate with production and logistics teams to meet shipping schedules.
• Maintain inventory of crate-building materials and report shortages or defects.
