Job summary

KOHLS is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain, inspect and repair facilities, equipment and machinery, promoting workplace efficiency and profitability. You will perform daily inspections and repairs on conveyor systems and related equipment, and handle preventative maintenance for air compressors, generators, and HVAC systems.

Responsibilities include assisting contractors, responding to jams or malfunctions, and managing parts.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC equipment.
• Compliance with MSDS standards and lock-out/tag procedures.
• Ability to climb ladders and operate power equipment.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Daily inspection and repair of all conveyor systems and equipment.
• Preventative maintenance of air compressors, generators, bailers, conveyors, and power handling equipment.
• Inspect and repair fire protection equipment; manage parts.
• Assist outside contractors and respond promptly to jams or malfunctions.
