Job summary

Microporous-Products in Piney Flats, TN is seeking a diligent Controls Technician to support industrial manufacturing operations. You will assist the Senior Controls Engineer with projects, installations, system upgrades and improvements.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical and controls issues, supporting PLC/Siemens systems, reading schematics, assembling and wiring control cabinets, and aiding startup, testing and commissioning to improve equipment reliability and safety.

Qualifications

Experience with PLC and Siemens control systems.
Ability to read electrical schematics and prints.
Hands-on troubleshooting of electrical/controls issues.

Responsibilities

Assist Senior Controls Engineer with projects, equipment installations, system upgrades and improvements.
Troubleshoot electrical and controls issues and support PLC/Siemens systems.
Read electrical schematics and prints; build and wire electrical control cabinets.
