Job summary

Clean Harbors in Rollinsford, NH is seeking an Industrial Controls and Instrumentation Technician. You will calibrate field instruments, inspect loops, and verify signals, while often tracing faults in PLCs and replacing transmitters.

You’ll install power and control wiring to MCCs and update drawings, maintaining strict lockout/tagout and safety practices. The role requires 6+ years electrical experience with 3+ years in instrumentation, PLC troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley), and DCS knowledge.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 6+ years electrical experience; 3+ years instrumentation.
• Experience with PLCs, especially Allen-Bradley; Siemens exposure a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics, and P&IDs.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate instruments and inspect loops; verify signals.
• Trace control faults through PLC routines; replace transmitters.
• Install power and control wiring to MCCs; update panel drawings; close out PMs.
• Run cabling and build out power distribution for MCCs.
• Service and replace motors, lighting, and related equipment.
• Perform general electrical maintenance to ensure uptime and reliability.
• Create and maintain logs and calibration records.
