Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Controls or Automation Technician in heavy industrial manufacturing.
• Experience in metal fabrication or steel industry preferred.
• Ability to work independently and maintain a safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and fix electrical and control system failures on manufacturing equipment.
• Perform troubleshooting and minor programming on PLC systems.
• Execute scheduled inspections on VFDs and safety circuits.

Skills

Proficiency with PLCs

Strong knowledge of 480V 3-phase power

Experience with VFDs

Education

Associate degree in Industrial Electronics
