Job summary

Hankook Tire is seeking an experienced Maintenance Controls Technician for a 12-hour shift to monitor and improve electromechanical systems across our production lines. You will lead modifications, support troubleshooting, and drive equipment optimization while ensuring safe operation.

The role requires hands-on expertise with VFDs, PLCs (Allen-Bradley Studio 5000), HMIs, and driving projects in a high-demand environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years of maintenance experience in an industrial environment required.
• Good command of written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Perform work safely and to company standards.
• Provide electrical and mechanical support to technicians.
• Read prints and troubleshoot electrical components.
• Program and troubleshoot PLCs and drives (Allen-Bradley Studio 5000, ABB drives).
• Lead machine modification and program modification projects in the field.
• Be on call for critical troubleshooting needs.
