Job summary
APCO Inc. – Advanced Process Control & Optimization is seeking a Business Development Engineer for an on-site role in North Salt Lake, UT.
You will identify opportunities in industrial controls and SCADA, collaborating with engineering and sales to craft tailored client solutions and drive proposals. Responsibilities include pursuing new business, supporting bids, and maintaining a robust opportunity pipeline while traveling regionally as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; MBA is a plus.
- Experience in industrial automation, process control, SCADA beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site with clients and internal teams, travel regionally as required.
- Proficiency with MS Office and CRM tools; familiarity with control system platforms and integrator environments is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in industrial controls and SCADA projects.
- Collaborate with engineering and sales teams to develop tailored solutions for clients.
- Prepare technical proposals and presentations, supporting bid and quotation processes.
- Maintain a pipeline of opportunities and provide regular reporting on activities.
