Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in Controls Programming and Industrial Controls Technology.
• Knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, instrumentation, VFDs, and robotics.

Industrial Controls Technician - Hannibal, MO

As a part of our manufacturing group, you will be responsible for supporting, creating, integrating, troubleshooting, and improving the controls systems within the manufacturing facility.

Shift hours:

• 8-hour shifts
• 2nd Shift: 2 pm to 10:30 pm
• 3rd Shift: 10 pm to 6:30 am
• Currently hiring for 2nd and/or 3rd shift (shift depends on business need)
• Ability and willingness to work overtime, any shift, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and emergency events
• Plant operates 24/7

Pay:

• $35.32 per hour
• Shift differential: Additional $1.00 per hour for 2nd and 3rd shift

What your day will look like:

• Creating high-quality foods consumed nationwide every day
• Utilizing technology in a leading industry facility
• Working with experienced operators eager to pass down knowledge
• Challenging yourself to complete tasks accurately and develop new skills
  • Supporting, creating, integrating, troubleshooting, and improving control systems including Wonderware, ArchestrA, PLCs
  • Reading and updating electrical/control schematics and diagrams
  • Providing technical support for equipment troubleshooting and modifications
  • Participating in Root Cause Analysis
  • Engaging in Continuous Improvement initiatives
  • Training new employees

What you have to offer:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 2 years' experience in Controls Programming and Industrial Controls Technology or related education
• Knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, instrumentation, VFDs, servo drives, robotics, power distribution (<600V), networking, and electrical safety
• Understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Manufacturing experience preferred

Physical requirements:

• Lift up to 50 lbs
• Perform tasks including standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling, and twisting
• Work at heights using stairs, ladders, lifts, or platforms
• Wear protective gear as required
• Adhere to grooming standards for food safety
• Work in various environmental conditions including hot, cold, noisy, dusty, and wet settings
• Work around high-speed machinery and allergens
• Operate in a tobacco-free environment
