Job summary

Elsdon Group in Georgia is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead day-to-day field operations on ground-up industrial and commercial projects.

You will coordinate subcontractors, read plans, manage schedules and budgets, uphold safety and quality standards, and report to project management on progress.

This position offers a competitive salary range of $110,000 to $135,000 plus benefits, with a strong project pipeline.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction experience, preferably with a General Contractor.
• Proven experience as a Superintendent on ground-up construction projects.
• Industrial, warehouse, distribution center, tilt-wall or large-scale commercial experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling and subcontractor management.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day field operations from mobilization through completion.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors and site personnel.
• Maintain project schedules and ensure milestones are met.
• Oversee site safety and quality control.
• Read and interpret plans, specifications and construction documents.
• Conduct site meetings and coordinate with Project Managers.
• Monitor progress and resolve issues in the field.
• Ensure work is completed to the required standards, schedule and budget.
