Job summary

The role requires basic building techniques knowledge, reliable transportation, and the ability to work safely in an industrial environment. You will assist with daily tasks, load/unload materials, and keep sites clean and organized, with opportunities to grow in a hands-on team.

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge on materials, tools, and processes involved with basic building techniques and form construction.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be willing to work safely and follow all safety rules and regulations.
• At least 6-months as an industrial helper working in industrial construction environment. Prefer helpers with 2-years or more experience in pulp and paper or manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify all tools required for tasks.
• Operate machinery as qualified.
• Load/unload and place materials needed.
• Identify safety risks and the precautions required to eliminate those risks.
• Assist journeyman in daily tasks and work orders.
• Assist on any miscellaneous construction processes.
• Clean up work areas.
