Job summary

Precision Industrial Contractors, Inc. is seeking an experienced Industrial Construction Foreman to lead field crews on industrial construction projects, maintaining safety and ensuring work complies with project plans, specifications, and schedule.

The Foreman will supervise craft employees in the field, coordinate manpower and materials, conduct daily safety meetings, read blueprints, and maintain daily reports. This is a traveling position requiring work away from home for extended periods.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial construction experience, with previous experience as a Foreman or Lead.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Willingness to travel to project sites and work extended hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise crews performing industrial construction, millwright, mechanical, piping, structural, concrete, and equipment installation work.
• Plan and coordinate daily crew activities based on project priorities and schedule.
• Assign work and clearly communicate daily expectations to crew members.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and work packages.
• Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to PIC quality standards.
• Monitor crew productivity and identify issues impacting schedule or production.
• Coordinate manpower, tools, equipment, and materials needed to complete work.
• Perform daily safety meetings, JHAs/pre-task planning, and enforce site safety requirements.
• Inspect completed work and address quality or installation issues.
• Maintain accurate daily reports, timekeeping, and documentation.
• Travel to project sites and work alongside the crew as needed.

Industrial Construction Foreman

Precision Industrial Contractors, Inc. (PIC) is seeking an experienced Industrial Construction Foreman to lead field crews on industrial construction projects. This position is ideal for a hands-on leader who can keep crews productive, maintain a safe work environment, and ensure work is completed according to project plans, specifications, and schedule.

The Foreman will work closely with the General Foreman, Superintendent, and Project Management team while directly supervising craft employees in the field.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise crews performing industrial construction, millwright, mechanical, piping, structural, concrete, and/or equipment installation work.
• Plan and coordinate daily crew activities based on project priorities and schedule.
• Assign work and clearly communicate daily expectations to crew members.

• Work alongside the crew when needed and provide hands-on technical guidance.
• Communicate jobsite issues, manpower needs, material shortages, and schedule concerns to project leadership.

You Are a Fit If You:

• Have 5+ years of industrial construction experience, with previous experience as a Foreman or Lead.
• Have strong knowledge of industrial construction practices and jobsite safety.
• Have experience supervising and directing craft employees.
• Can read and understand construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Are comfortable planning work and managing daily crew production.
• Have strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Are willing to be hands-on and assist your crew when necessary.
• Can work extended hours, weekends, and overtime when required by the project.
• Are dependable and able to commit to the duration of the project.
• Can successfully complete all required pre-employment and site-specific requirements.

Preferred Experience

Experience leading crews in one or more of the following areas is preferred:

• Millwright and machinery installation
• Industrial mechanical work
• Structural steel
• Pipefitting and welding
• Concrete and foundations
• Equipment setting and alignment
• Shutdowns, outages, and fast-paced industrial projects

Additional Qualifications, Education, & Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
• OSHA30 certification or the ability to get certified
• Procore experience preferred
• Valid Drivers License
