GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

The Coatings Planner will plan the near-term coatings/fabrication schedules, working directly with the area supervisor and in conjunction with available capacity as defined by the MPS. They will manage and coordinate the scheduling and production control processes to ensure customer requirements are met in alignment with the company's objectives and policies. The role involves interfacing and collaborating with all impacted functional areas, including sales, engineering, purchasing, shipping, and project management, to optimize the flow of product through production. The position is responsible for schedule adherence and managing off-schedule issues.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, AND EDUCATION:

• Experience related to steel fabrication, industrial coatings, or production planning within the steel industry.
• A degree in a related field is preferred; alternatively, candidates must have a minimum of three (3) years of steel fabrication and/or industrial coatings experience.
• Proficiency in SAP, MS Office, and blueprint reading.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
