Job summary

Panelmatic, Inc. seeks a skilled Grinder/Polisher to prepare metal surfaces and apply paints on custom control panels. You will grind, sand, and polish to achieve high-quality finishes and assist with coating operations using spray guns, brushes, and rollers.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year coating experience, HS diploma, and ability to work in heat and enclosed spaces. Must be able to lift 75 lbs and work autonomously with strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year experience applying industrial coatings or paint required.
• US work authorization without sponsorship required.
• Able to lift 75 lbs or more and work in enclosed spaces for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Immerse parts to remove grease, rust, dirt.
• Set up and operate painting equipment for coatings.
• Prepare surfaces and apply coatings with brushes, spray guns, sanders, rollers.
• Mix chemicals and adjust viscosity for coatings.
• Read prints to match paint colors and finishes.
• Polish and blend surfaces to match surrounding areas.
• Move materials using lifting equipment as needed.
• Maintain high quality finishes on control panels and components.
