Job summary

Celeros Flow Technology is seeking a Painter/Blaster to apply protective coatings to manufactured products using spray guns in accordance with MIL specifications. The role includes painting preparation, matching paint specifications, and quality inspection with MIL gauges.

Responsibilities include setting up equipment, loading materials, and performing follow-up inspections, while adhering to EHS policies. The position is on-site in Houston, with full-time hours and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• 2-3 years' experience to include related preparatory work in painting/blasting.

Responsibilities

• Painting preparation.
• Examine specifications on work orders to determine paint type, mix procedure, MIL requirements and inspection.
• Load and transport product to work area racks using hoist or lift truck.
• Mix appropriate quantities and fill containers.
• Select spray gun and wear protective equipment.
• Perform painting operation and regulate spray pattern.
• Coat product with protective material and inspect MIL.
• Follow up inspection with MIL gauge after drying.
• Allow curing time and apply additional coats as needed.
• Document completion in Data Collection System and move to next workstation.
• Clean spray equipment with solvent and store properly.
• Follow all EHS policies and procedures.
