Job summary

Venteon, in collaboration with Harvard Resource Solutions, seeks a Machine Tool Electrician for an onsite role in Flint, MI. The candidate will install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems on CNC machines and manufacturing equipment, ensuring safety and compliance with codes and maintenance programs.

Requires 4+ years of industrial electrical maintenance, knowledge of NEC, and experience with PLCs, motors, drives, and automation.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED with electrical apprenticeship/tech training.
4+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience preferred.
Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, motor controls, PLCs, VFDs, and automation equipment.
Ability to read electrical drawings and NEC knowledge; safety practices.
Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple maintenance requests.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical components on CNC machines and industrial equipment.
Diagnose electrical, electronic, and control system failures using diagnostic tools and PLC software.
Read schematics, blueprints, ladder logic diagrams, wiring diagrams, and manuals.
Install and wire motors, drives, sensors, and control panels; troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment.
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime.
