Job summary

Guardian Protection Products is seeking a dedicated janitorial technician to provide heavy-duty cleaning in the manufacturing plant and warehouse. You will operate floor scrubbers/buffers, empty trash and recycling, and assist with spill cleanup while following strict safety guidelines.

The role requires 5 years of industrial janitor experience and a high school diploma or equivalent, with preferred forklift certification and respirator fit-testing.

Qualifications

• 5 years' janitor experience in an industrial environment.
• Ability to perform cleaning tasks around chemical spills following safety guidelines.
• Capable of wearing respirators as required by the job.

Responsibilities

• Run floor scrubber and floor buffer as needed.
• Empty plant floor trash containers and report full dumpster to maintenance manager.
• Empty all cardboard containers and take to recycling dumpster outside facility.
• Sweep plant floor daily and remove dust.
• Assist in cleaning up chemical spills following safety guidelines.
• Monitor supplies and inform maintenance manager when restocking is needed.
• Report spills, leaks, equipment malfunctions, and safety hazards.
