Job summary

Turner Industries in Painesville, OH is seeking Janitors to maintain premises and assist skilled workers as needed. This non-exempt role reports to the Foreman and follows site procedures.

Responsibilities include cleaning offices and industrial spaces, performing dusting, sweeping, mopping, and restroom sanitizing, with safety requirements and post-offer drug screening. This position requires the ability to lift 30-50 pounds, tolerate heat and cold, and work in a loud environment.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent required.
• Post offer drug / alcohol screen, physical evaluation, and policy acceptance.
• Comply with safety requirements on site.
• Must not pose a direct threat to health of others.

Responsibilities

• Maintain premises and keep offices and industrial areas clean.
• Perform dusting, sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, waxing and buffering floors.
• Clean restrooms and common areas; assist skilled workers as needed.
• Follow supervisor directions and site procedures.
