Job summary

You will perform floor care, trash removal, restroom service, window cleaning, dusting, and light maintenance tasks while adhering to safety protocols. Must be able to handle physically demanding work and have TWIC and valid ID.

Qualifications

• Must be detail-oriented and flexible to handle non-routine cleaning tasks.
• Experience with general cleaning and sanitation in office or industrial settings.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and performing repetitive cleaning tasks.

Responsibilities

• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors with cleaners.
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
• Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies using manual handling or hand trucks.
• Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors.
• Clean laboratory equipment and glassware.
• Notify managers about major repairs or additions to building systems.
• Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance.
• Follow safety procedures to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
