Job summary

Responsibilities include operating floor scrubbers and sweep machines, shoveling debris, disposing waste, and reporting maintenance or safety issues to supervisors. The role requires physical stamina and dependable attendance in a fast-paced industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial, warehouse, or factory cleaning experience preferred.
• Experience operating floor scrubbers and industrial sweep machines preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor throughout the shift.
• Comfortable standing, bending, walking, and working around machinery.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize factory floors, production areas, restrooms, offices, and break rooms.
• Operate floor scrubbers, sweep machines, buffers, and other cleaning equipment.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, and remove debris from warehouse and manufacturing areas.
• Empty trash, recycling, and industrial waste containers.
• Clean spills and maintain safe walkways to prevent hazards.
• Restock restroom and cleaning supplies.
• Follow OSHA and safety procedures and sanitation guidelines.
• Assist with cleaning around machinery during shutdown periods.
• Remove dust, dirt, grease, and other buildup from surfaces.
• Report maintenance, safety, or repair issues to supervisors.
• Support general facility upkeep and organization.
