Job Function

This position is responsible for the operation of tools and equipment in various customer work sites for industrial and environmental cleaning.

Essential Functions

1. Strictly adhere to MPW Health and Safety Policies and Procedures.
2. Arrive on time, in uniform, properly groomed, alert, and able to work. Follow work schedule procedures.
3. Set up the jobsite, including water blast hose, vacuum hose, barricade tape, and tags.
4. Use equipment such as water blast guns, water lances, vacuum hoses, shovels, picks, automated tooling, aerial lifts, and others as needed.
5. Clean equipment before returning to the branch.
6. Demonstrate initiative in completing assigned tasks.
7. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

1. Maintain valid ID for access to customer sites.
2. Preferred exposure to equipment or maintenance environments.
3. Experience in manual outdoor labor.
4. Preferred 2-3 years of hands-on experience with tools or heavy equipment.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 lbs., with or without accommodations.
• Perform manual labor consistently.
• Maintain alertness and fitness for duty.
• Work in confined spaces.
• Wear respirators in environments with chemicals or fumes.
• Travel to various states and work beyond typical shifts as needed.
